What helps
- A brand buyers search for by name
- Condition that photographs well
- Box, dust bag, receipt, authenticity card, papers
- Complete sets — extra links, straps, original hardware
- Something distinctive rather than something ubiquitous
- Provenance you can describe
What hurts
- Heavy structural damage or missing hardware
- Odour — smoke and mildew are very hard to sell through
- Amateur repairs and refinishing
- Fast-fashion or diffusion lines with no resale market
- No documentation on a piece that needs it
- An expectation anchored to the original retail price
We do not accept counterfeit items.
Not knowingly, and not unknowingly either — if a piece is found to be counterfeit at any stage, it will not be listed, it will not be returned to circulation, and we will contact you directly. This is not negotiable and it is the single biggest reason the resale market has a trust problem.
Estates, inheritances and closet clean-outs.
These are often the best inventory we handle and the most stressful for the person holding them. You do not need to sort, value or photograph anything first. Tell us roughly what is there and we will come and look.
